We just got a call from the vet. Bellona is awake and has tried to get up and walk around already. The floors at the clinic are slick so she wasn’t too successful but she’s still drugged up on IV pain meds. Dr. C says Bellona is doing great and they will switch from IV to oral meds tomorrow. If all goes well Bellona will be home tomorrow. *crossing fingers*
We’ve all been missing Bellona including her little brother Caesar (8-1/2 year old Cane Corso). Caesar is normally a drama queen but it was over the top tonight. Nothing would keep the Caesar Man happy.
Sleep well everyone and more updates tomorrow.
Oh Caesar, Bellona will be home soon. You’ll cheer he up when she gets home:) I’m so sorry to hear the news about your Bellona. She knows she’s loved, keep strong and the best advice ever given to me; breathe!
My Rudy’s diagnosis was a super shock to us too. We took him in to the Vet’s for a routine check and we walked out in tears. I was so scared. He had been limping on his back leg for few months and I thought it was his arthritis or that he had just played to hard.
Rudy had surgery on Jan. 26th and his recovery is going really well. I worry to much and have had to be strong for my Rudy. He’s actually been the one to show me the power of positivity.
We’re sending lot’s of loving and positive thoughts to you and your family.
