Today I made a trip to Dog Daze and got some supplies for the fur-babies. I thought a round of bully sticks would be a nice treat for Bellona and Caesar.
Bellona was happy to have a treat although it was somewhat awkward for Big B to hold her bully stick while chewing. I tried to hold it for Bellona but she refused the help. She’s such a stubborn girl.
Tomorrow my warrior starts Chemo. I hope it goes well and no complications. I’ll post tomorrow evening after we get home.
Looks like the big B has figured out how to eat her bullystick just fine! Keeping our paws crossed for an uneventful treatment.
I’m coming in WAY late on Bellona’s journey but want to say what a big, beautiful, brave girl you have there. Loved all the pictures you’ve posted – has she destroyed her red lobster yet? Any kind of stuffed toy doesn’t last longer than fifteen minutes around here. If Catie doesn’t finish off the toy, Riley makes short work of it!
Sending you many pawsitive wishes for Bellona’s first chemo treatment tomorrow and that she doesn’t have many side effects.
P.S. Catie doesn’t like help eating her chew sticks either. Bellona will get the hang of holding her stick with one paw in no time. 🙂
Good luck with those chemo treatments. We’ll be thinking of Bellona tomorrow, please do keep us posted.
